The Fleshpound is already supposed to be the guy who comes in and demands the team's attention, and he does it well, because he actually turns scary on his own. Rather, I think a couple of changes would mean the Scrake holds its own, interesting niche in the enemy pool. Having the Scrake suddenly switch from harmless to horrifying is frustrating, and being able to kill it faster before it starts murdering you all is just a band-aid. I'm also aware that Demolitionist and Sharpshooter are missing, but I don't think they will fix the problem. I'm aware of the circle-strafing technique, but I think it is an unfun mechanic, and probably unintentional. It also makes it easy for someone to troll the team by enraging them when they aren't ready, because one enraged Scrake is likely to kill two, even three lone players, they just don't have enough DPS.

I don't think it's fun that it requires the entire team's attention to deal with an enraged Scrake, because it encourages your team to just avoid them until all the trash is gone, which is boring. Otherwise, you just avoid them, and they aren't very dangerous. If you shoot them just a little bit, they become a massive threat, which requires the entire team to work together to deal with ASAP or people start dying. I think the issue is the way they become enraged. Judging by HP values, Scrakes can eat more bullets relative to KF1 at lower difficulty levels, but their HP doesn't scale as quickly at higher difficulties, so it ends up being similar. I've seen a lot of people complaining that Scrakes have too much HP, but I don't think that's the issue. These moments were exciting, and very fun, but as similar as they are to the Fleshpounds, the way we simply avoided Scrakes until the end of each round, when we killed them one by one, was uninteresting. I've felt that Scrakes just aren't that fun to deal with for a while, but in this round, there were a couple points in which the team split up, and we were pursued by Fleshpounds. I was just in a game, when something clicked in my mind.
